the other day in my schools computer lab, i have never been so diaapointed in a faculty member. we have these people watch us or moderate us, while in the computer labs. anyways, theyre NOT teachers, they just sit and make sure we dont break into the schools fluky blocked system (which i have done many a time). during the pledge of allegiance, 3 or 4 members if our class did not stand, myself included. this moderator turns to us and says “your desgusting. if you dont believe in it, then you dont deserve to live.” never in my life have i gotten yelled at for NOT saluting god and the u.s. why did i not stand? because i dont believe in it. i am an athiest, and i dont feel it right to have to say, somewhat of a prayer. then this moderator starts saying we HAVE to stand because its a law. thats where she was wrong. the constitution says that no student has to salute the flag of the united states during the pledge. anyone else find what she did wrong? that ruined my day >.<
